All lawyers should write for fun, draw or participate in the arts #amwriting
Because it edifies the soul, and it makes you a better lawyer. Drawing and writing give me a greater attention to detail. I observe the world more closely, and, consequently, I notice far more as a lawyer. Being a lawyer is about seeing the correct moves so to speak. Seeing options is another way to put it. I really enjoy drawing and writing, and it is good for me to take short breaks to write or draw so I can recharge and get back to filing an appeal, drafting a document or preparing for a hearing.
