Michael I'm not sure what the big deal is about getting an ID and having to show it to verify who you are. I showed mine even though the sign said I did not need too. If you don't have an ID that just screams lazy to me. It is not hard. Why is that disenfranchising to people? Just curious. I agree that the law would need to be rolled out over a period of time but just curious why you are against proving who you are in order to vote.
Because it should be easier not harder to vote. Some people are disabled and unable to get there. They aren't lazy. Or they can't afford an ID.
