Don't be surprised if VA disability funding gets cut in 2015

VA disability funding will likely get cut in 2015 due to Republicans taking power.  This will be done in an effort to "shrink the size of government," when, in reality, the size of government will only grow.  It is just a different kind of growth, namely more tax breaks for billionaires and corporations and money for defense contractors.

  1. Wondering about your definitions. When you say that government will only grow... does that mean overall spending will grow?

But wouldn't tax breaks for billionaires (a very few folks) and corporations result in less income to the tax coffers? Is that "growth?"

If it results in MORE income to the tax coffers, wouldn't that suggest tax reduction actually RAISES the amount government takes in? And if that's the case, wouldn't tax relief for those who pay taxes make good sense?

  2. We need middle class tax relief and to not supplement defense contractors.

  3. Michael, you must have attended anticapitalist classes in college. But you yourself enjoy the benefits. Pure hipocrasy brother. Fewer and fewer people are buying this nonsense.

  4. So wanting to help the middle class is anticapitalst? How do know what I benefitted from? And I think many people are fed up with the way Congress works. So people are "buying" what I say.
