Federal court blocks two parts of N.C.'s new voting law - Winston-Salem Journal: Local News. Phil Berger wants to appeal this as quickly as possible to the Supreme Court. Maybe he should focus on doing his job instead of trying to keep people from voting. The State Board of Election guy claiming he is worried voters will be confused, and that's a reason for disenfranchising people, is full of it. Here's a suggestion: print a new flyer and mail it out. This assumes he knows the election takes place next month.
