People looking for a lawyer are turning to the Internet first, survey finds. This isn't surprising. Most people shop for things on the Internet. It make sense they would do the same thing for lawyers. Law firms tend to be behind the curve on these kinds of things as they aren't as adept at social media, which is a major source of internet referrals because it gets you out there and differentiates you in a positive way. Law firms that fail to adopt technology will wither on the vine.
