HODGES v. MOORE, No. COA10-69., July 20, 2010 - NC Court of Appeals | FindLaw
HODGES v. MOORE, No. COA10-69., July 20, 2010 - NC Court of Appeals | FindLaw. This is a case I wrote the winning Appellee's brief for from back in 2010. Interesting issue. Issue was whether the judge has to make detailed findings of fact in granting a motion for summary judgment. I argued no as summary judgment is proper when there is no genuine issue of material fact. Kind of hard to do that when there are detailed factual issues in an order.
