Stash of $10 million in buried gold coins offers lesson in property and tax law
Stash of $10 million in buried gold coins offers lesson in property and tax law. The old Scottish proverb, "finders keepers, losers weepers," applies here, yet the "weepers" are probably dead. It is unusual to find a pot of gold or other buried treasure. I'm glad this couple decided to consult a lawyer. You never know what nuts may come out of the woodwork or be unearthed by such a windfall. End hackneyed, trite expressions now. Fin.
