Lawyers shouldn't be afraid of pro bono work
Lawyers shouldn't be afraid of pro bono work. If they are, then they are selfish and petty. Quite frankly, they don't deserve to be lawyers or that's my view of it. As lawyers, we are imbued with good brains and good skills necessary to solve problems and help other people. This means we need to do pro bono work. We need to get "off the clock" and help our fellow human beings. It doesn't take long, and it can make a difference in the client's life and, quite frankly, the lawyer's life.
